It’s been a few weeks since I wrote anything. Don’t know where the time has gone. However I have been creative of sorts! Fresh from my Lockdown Social Media Course (an online freebe from @FutureLearn – thank you) I decided to put some of the info into practice.
One of the things I did was 26 days of posting an A to Z of my Lockdown Garden Walk. This meant taking a photo of (ideally) a plant in my garden that began with each letter of the alphabet and then finding an area within my paintings that most closely resembled it. Plus a little artistic licence for those letters I didn’t have in the garden. I was hoping to send out some colourful memories and a bit of distraction during the time when we were not allowed outside in that big bad world.
It was quite a feat, remembering to take the photos of the plants at their best, post or schedule posts, choosing ‘optimimum posting times’ and then check up on ‘activity’, ‘gain’ ‘outcomes’, ‘product reactions’ etc. But a useful exercise but I don’t plan to repeat it. And my garden is full of now mainly weeds, lettuce and beetroot so makes for a very brief alphabet.
Hopefully presenting them here as a complete ‘set’ of images will bring a different aspect to the 26 days of posting.
Let me know what you think!
Take care everyone and welcome to B. my new subscriber 🙂
Till next time…..
